SHIPPING
Current shipping timeframe:
Pre-orders are now open, with shipping commencing in mid-late January each year. Please check your pre-order confirmation email for the estimated dispatch date of your purchase.
Shipping is within Australia only and is performed by Australia Post’s regular parcel service at a flat rate of $13.50 per order.
Golden Plains Garlic cannot be held responsible for delays caused by Australia Post.
Quarantine restrictions on importation of seed garlic into Western Australia and Tasmania prevent Golden Plains Garlic from supplying orders to addresses in those states. Quarantine restrictions to non-mainland addresses also apply.
PRICES
Golden Plains Garlic reserves the right to change the advertised price at any time, without notice. If the advertised price changes, garlic already on order will maintain the advertised price at the time of ordering.
PRE-ORDERS
Pre-orders are available on items that are to be prepaid and then shipped at an indicated future date, with shipping for the season usually commencing in mid-January and continuing until order volumes are addressed.
Upon placing a pre-order, you are accepting that your order has been placed in a queue, and therefore you agree to wait until shipping commences and orders placed prior to yours are prepared and dispatched.
Order confirmation emails from Golden Plains Garlic will provide an indicative estimate of the dispatch date of your pre-order.
Order updates from Golden Plains Garlic may be provided by email, at the discretion of Golden Plains Garlic, when there is a significant duration between order and supply, to give a more accurate indication of dispatch date if required.
Pre-orders are treated on a first-come, first-served basis, and early ordering will ensure that the best selection of garlic is available.
On commencement of shipping, order backlogs will require time to fulfill, and Golden Plains Garlic will endeavour to ship orders as efficiently as possible.
ORDERING
Your order has been securely placed once you have received an order confirmation email. The items will be reserved on your behalf until delivery.
Golden Plains Garlic confirms all orders by email. If you haven’t received an order confirmation after placing your order, chances are it hasn’t gone through so please contact us.
Golden Plains Garlic does not take any responsibility for any errors present on order confirmations. It is the customer’s responsibility to check and ensure their order and personal details are correct. If an order is dispatched with errors that were present on the order confirmation, you may be charged additional fees to correct the issue.
Orders are subject to acceptance and Golden Plains Garlic reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order for any reason up until order dispatch.
Any claims regarding the accuracy or condition of your order, or if you change your mind about your order, must be made within 7 (seven) days from receipt of delivery (notification of “Delivery ready for Collection” by Australia Post). A cancellation fee may be charged.
It is your responsibility to select items that are appropriate for your specific requirements and location.
QUALITY AND CONDITION
Golden Plains Garlic takes great care to provide garlic and shallots of the highest quality.
Please follow the instructions below to maintain the condition of this product for storage or prior to planting:
Open packaging immediately on arrival, unpack and store in a cool, well ventilated, sheltered environment, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Garlic is best stored in netting bags or baskets. Do not refrigerate unless you live in the wet tropics.
As garlic is a live product, all care of these goods once received is the sole responsibility of you, the Receiver. Golden Plains Garlic cannot be held responsible for loss of condition of the goods whilst in the care of the Receiver, whether due to handling practices, storage practices, planting practices, weather events or any other Receiver issue, either intentional or unintentional.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Golden Plains Garlic does not accept returns. All goods are shipped in good order and Golden Plains Garlic cannot be held responsible for loss of condition of the goods in transit. You may purchase insurance at checkout if you wish to insure your purchase. Refunds will be provided only in the event that we cannot fulfil your order.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Unless otherwise indicated, Golden Plains Garlic owns or licenses all rights, title and interest (including intellectual property rights) in its website and the entirety of the content. Your use of Golden Plains Garlic’s website and your use of and access to any content does not grant or transfer to you any rights, title or interest in relation to Golden Plains Garlic’s website or the content. You must not:
1. Copy or use, in whole or in part, any content.
2. Reproduce, re-transmit, distribute, disseminate, sell, publish, broadcast or circulate any content to any third party.
3.
