Spanish Rojo Garlic Bulbs

Our Spanish Rojo garlic bulbs have great flavour which is spicy and hot.

Description

Our hardneck Spanish Rojo garlic bulbs have great flavour which is spicy and hot. Another great all purpose garlic for use raw, roasted or cooked into your favourite paella.

Naturally grown from organic seed, Spanish Rojo/Roja translates to Spanish Red and is a hardneck cultivar of the Creole group.

A little bit of Spanish grammar for the linguistically minded; a Spanish adjective will change its ending to match the gender and number of the noun it describes. The word for garlic in Spanish is the masculine ajo, so when adding red, it should be rojo rather than roja. Nevertheless, online references to the Spanish Roja variety are the same as our Spanish Rojo if they are a hardneck. (There are two varieties with the same name – one is a hardneck, the other is a softneck.)
