Description
Garlic plaits are a great way to store garlic. Our plaits are made by hand with the Italian Late variety, which has a hot, rich or even agressive flavour. They are grown from organic seed from the Italian Late variety, which is a cultivar of the Artichoke group.
A fantastic strong tasting garlic with mostly large cloves, perfect for all round use.
All our garlic bulbs, whilst not certified organic, are grown naturally, without the use of chemical fertilisers or pesticides. We use biodegradeable weed matting and hand weeding methods of weed control, and only organic fertilisers.
How to store your garlic plaits
Hang your garlic plaits in a cool dry place, out of direct sun but not in the dark.
Expected storage time: Medium to long (around 8 months in cool, dry conditions). Storage information. Note, 2022 harvest was late-December.
